The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is the largest bookkeeping institute in the world. It promotes and maintains the standards of bookkeeping as a profession, through the establishment of a series of relevant qualifications and the award of grades of membership that recognise academic attainment, working experience and competence.

Further details we require from you will be whether your application will be processed with qualifications, references or the Institute's online assessment.

Entry to Membership via Qualifications : Where membership is sought based on qualifications, copies - not originals - of transcripts must be supplied with your application. These should clearly state the grade awarded and the name of the person receiving the award. Please also forward a copy of your resume to admin@icb.org.au to support your bookkeeping experience.Qualifications are only accepted if under 2 years old.

References: Where membership is sought on the basis of relevant experience, we will require the names and email addresses of two accountants who are members of one of the following bodies, ICAA, CPA, TIA, ATMA, CIMA , NIA or ICB Fellow, who may be contacted by the Institute to support your application.  

Please note that references from relatives are not acceptable.
